We are busy! It's been a great couple of months in our house. We spent Easter in East Tn with Lindsey's family. We went on a family camp trip. And we took the youth group on an overnight canoe trip on the Mississippi river. Our sights are on the summer now! We have been preparing for months and will continue to prepare these next few weeks for our summer mission trip. Alice can now say "Costa Rica" and "Hola"... so we are set! First, we head to Wisconsin for training camp (tent camping for 4.5 weeks), and then to Costa Rica (for 4 weeks). Our students will be discipled and grow in their faith.  Our team will be sharing the gospel through soccer matches, relationships, and street performances. We are very excited to see how God will move in Costa Rica!

Flooding, birthday, youth group and spring break

A couple weeks ago we had a long and terrible storm that dumped 17" of rain on Clarksdale. Our town flooded. We are fortunate our home was fine, but around 300 homes and businesses were flooded. The waters have finally gone down and now a lot of recovery and cleaning has begun. Please pray for the victims as they are going through a trying time.

Alice turned two this month!! She had a "Wizard of Oz" party and loved all the friends and family that loved on her. We are beyond blessed with a fun, smart, sweet and kind little girl. She loves to dance, play outside, experience new things with her Mama and Dada, love on her brother Mitch, and talk!

Youth group and our other ministries are in full swing and we love hanging out with students. Rainer held a "Royal Servants' Day" to recruit for our mission trips. Last week we took a couple days and had a "Spring Break" mini trip to Memphis!
