All good things come from God. With the miracle of the birth of our daughter we now understand a small portion of the love God has for His children.

Welcome to our family, Alice Rebecca Powell. She was born at 1:37pm on Friday, March 7th in Clarksdale, MS. She was 7lbs 10oz and 20.5" long. It was instant unconditional love.

Any day now...

Nine months later, here we are! Less than 2 weeks from due date. We still don't know our baby's gender and we are very excited to meet baby Powell!

It's been an amazing adventure watching my belly grow and feeling our baby moving around. And to the best husband ever: Rainer has been so supportive, helpful, kind, loving and taken such good care of me! We can't wait to meet our little blessing... any day now!

It's 2014! We have had a great January. We started the year (or ended last year rather- on Dec 31st) at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis watching Mississippi State beat Rice! We went with our good friends the Bowies.

Rainer then took off to the Northeast to meet up with two other Reign Ministries staff members. They drove all over- going to 7+ states. They spoke to students in schools and youth groups sharing about living missionally and recruiting for Royal Servants mission trips. A huge winter storm caused a bump in the trip but gave them an opportunity to serve- and plow snow for people!

While Rainer was gone my sweet friends threw me a baby shower! Also, my mom got to come a visit for a few days. We had a great time getting the nursery ready and doing house projects.
