And we're off!!

We are headed to Costa Rica! Our team is ready and we are so excited to see what God will do in and through our students. We will be visiting villages around the area and doing ministry and sharing the gospel through soccer, drama, dance and puppets.

June 29 - July 20: Cachi, Costa Rica (traveling almost every day to area villages)

July 20 - July 25: Jaco, Costa Rica (team debriefing)

July 25 - July 30: The teams goes back to the US, while the 3 of us stay for some family time

Also, we are excited to announce that we are expecting Powell baby #2 in January!!
Please pray for the health of mama, baby, Alice, Rainer and the rest of the team.

Training Camp... so far

We have been at training camp in Pardeeville, Wisconsin for almost a month now. Our students are now here, so our team is complete! We have a team of 41 with students and staff from all over the country and Canada. The team has been doing quiet times reading God's word, hearing talks from different leaders, meeting with their discipleship groups, cooking meals for the team and learning their skill groups, which for our team, includes soccer practice.
